I hope this is not too much of an advert for the supplier but I must say I am very impressed with the quailty and longevity of my diamond blades , they are really decent and cut well with no chipping and I think Alan and his guys at ATS deserve a pat on the back for it , I run these...
Hi guys
For years now I've been using Marcrist CK850 in my 125mm grinder and I also have a 250mm one in my Rubi table saw.
I don't know why but the last few blades I have purchased don't seem to be up to scratch, one even split while cutting a tile and near took my head off, that was kindly...
Ok, I purchased the 25mm diamond core for using with grinder (rubi one) very good piece of kit I can tell you. Coring through very dense imola porcelain tile in around 20 seconds, this would take up to 2 or 3 mins with conventional core. Let's see how many holes it lasts but at 36 quid I'm...
Alan from ATS diamond tools sent me a handful of new and untested vacuum brazed diamond core drills to test. These are different from the existing dry core drills in that they are designed for use in a drill (speed over 1500rpm).
I was very impressed! I was drilling into a full bodied...
I have a cheapo plasplugs wet cutter that keeps going!
But it takes a 110mm wheel, whats the best wheel for this, there doesn't seem to be many about at this size!.
Just placed an order for a few bits and pieces from ATS diamond tools who I have found to be great quality and great value who are you currently using for consumables and how do you decide on which company and products you like to use ?
Hi Guys,
Has anyone had any experience using the D605 range of vacuum brazed diamond tile drills with the hexagonal back ends from Husqvarna. It would be great to get some hands on feedback on them. Especially a comparison to these and the Marcrist PG750X drills would be brilliant is anyone has...

Can anyone tell me how long to expect a circular Rubi Diamond cutter to last in a wet cutter? I have done about 50 cuts on 60 x 60 porcelain floor tiles and it worked fine at first. But now I find it impossible to get a straight cut. Using the guide is impossible because the tile draws into the...

I am going to be testing these soon for ATS diamond tools. Can't wait to see how they perform on various grades of porcelain.
They look the business ;)
Wet Vs Dry polishing, which is better?
We get asked this daily. There is really no definitive answer as in most cases there is a crossover area where both are as effective as the other.
The only way to really compare the two processes is to actually talk through the products individually and...
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has used these blades?, I had some seriously hard porcelains (600 x 300mm walls, and 600 x 600mm floors) the other day that my Vitrex 180mm table saw, my TS60 Plus and my grinder with Montolit Pro Gres blade wouldn't touch so I hired an Imer 250mm table saw and...

Purchased a 6, 8, 10 & 16mm diamond dry core drills the other day. They were delivered next day. I already have a Rubi 20mm core which I love, and to look at they are almost identical!
Got a whole porcelain wet room to drill. Will post pics as & when I use them next week :)
