Finished the job and was taking my tools outside to the car. The wheels of my Sigma cutter just clipped the door and took a 20mm chunk out of it. That sick feeling came to my stomach. Customer not too happy, but these things happen she said. New door was fitted a few weeks ago at a cost of...

I'm not a tiler. Hope that's OK! We had a new kitchen, and the builder laid the porcelain tiles. After he'd finished (and we'd paid him), we saw the line by the living room door wasn't straight. He apologised, and offered to cut it straight with an angle grinder, but he can't get to the edges...

Hi,
Coming to the end of my (long!) project to fit my own wetroom.... I've encountered a tricky problem; I have finished the tiling, but have realised that the hinges I need to fit for the main door are so close to the wall tiles I need to rebate the tile in order for the hinge to fit :yikes...
Hi All.
Every time I install underfloor heating under tiles I have a problem with finding metal door bars to match the rest of the house because of the height difference which is usually about 30mm from top of tile to underside of carpet.

How do you guys board around doors? If i go up to the architrave then the tiles will be too proud, if i remove the architrave then you'll always see the edge of the board and tiles from the side of the door. (if you follow). Can this be avoided? If so how do you guys normally finish this off...
Hi guys,
I'm about to start tiling the en suite and I had a sudden thought about how to tile up to the edge of the pocket door system that separates the room from the bedroom and so I started to do some research on google only to find that everyone seems to say "don't do it".
oh-oh.
The door...
Hi. Ive got a very small wet room to do, theres no room for a screen and the bathroom door is going to get wet and i was thinking of replacing the en-suite door with a shower door, has anybody else done this before? if so what door did you use or does anybody have any ideas or pics of things...
I'm doing a wet room, where the edge of the tray is only 260mm from the door. I said its to close to the door not to have a shower screen, I have even tried too source one for the customer. Now the job as started, they tell me, there wont be a screen, but want a gaurantee that the water wont go...
Has anyone got a link for either Wooliscroft Oatmeal? or something similar for tiling a front door step?
Asked at CTD & they were quoting roughly £70m2.
I can get some of the old Pilkingtons through Topps but the dont have any bullnoses or corners & i dont want to use any trims.
Thanks in...
