Hey i was wondering which is the correct power tool for triming the bottom of a door is assuming it needed a substantial piece off. would a jigsaw manage the job or would a circular saw be better?would a circular saw leave a very rough cut?

Hi everyone could use a litle help on a price on a hall way floor, at the moment its got marley tile down, but sound, I thought bonding them would be ok, its 14 sq m 40x40 tiles and 9 doorways, I was thinking about adding a little extra on for all the extra cuts around the doors. Thanks in advance

Just thought i would start off this thread, thought it might be usefull for the new tilers, How much to take off a door, shave it down and replace, I would charge about £25/ £30
is there a tool on the market for cutting down doors with the door still on its hinge, so that i dont have to take the door off to cut it down to size, if so are they any good and whats the price and suplier.
