    we have 80 m floor to tile which has been layed for 4 weeks now and it is a gyvlon screed type it has underfloor heating which has been on for 10 days now we would like to stick a ditra mat down to screed with a gypson based adhesive has anybody used this method as we r getting mixed comments...

    Putting down hardi six mil boards down on floor for travertine tiles

    Tiling over celotex without laying down a screed.

    What would you all recommend for a wetroom install over celotex insulation, other than a screed which is not possible due to height limitations? The Celotex is level and secure as the slab it sits on has been levelled and I was going to float WBP ply over it, then some 6mm Wedi or Marmox...

    How do you stick down your heatmats?

    I haven't done a heatmat in a while, until today. (mesh backed btw) Had a bit of a faff to get it to lie flat so I could slc over the top. In the end I knocked up some stiff addy and pressed it through the mesh with the flat, short edge of a trowel, in a few places first. How do you do yours?
