I've got a client who is after a totally seamless look in his wetroom, he would like to have the drain cover tiled.
The shower area is going to be 800mm x 1000mm, there is no decision yet about drain position.
Anyone out there had experience with these type of tiled drain systems...
nowt to do with tiling but my nabours drain blocked up and started over flowing through the manhole (which is on his property) dyn a rod charged him £120 to unblock it and because my drain flows in to it as well he reconds i should pay half.
is he right or is it down to him as its on his property.
Instructions on linear drain seem to suggest the stainless steel is painted with an iron minium? Any ideas. Is this red oxide? Also stainless steel aint easy to paint would this be ok???

Following on from a recent thread. My wet room keeps evolving and we are now sloping the floor towards the dry area as such where the door would e but we have now decided that we are not going o have a door. I think a linear drain would be best but they seem wrt expensive. I have seen the ones...
