Hi
I am in the process of fitting a new En suite out and have recently bought a 2m2 heat mat with digital timer. So far I have chased through the walls, ran the electric feed to a fused spur (3A - it's only 150w rating) and ran conduit to the floor ready for the mats cables. The question I have...

Hey All - I've just recently started in the trade and on a recent job I used my brand new Rubi ND-180 wet wheel and it broke after cutting 5 6mm tiles. No joke! The power just keeps cutting out, so I'm gonna take it back.
But I need something else to replace it and I'd be grateful for your...

I've always used a flat bed electric cutter for cuts that need it or tiles that need it, always with water. I hear a lot of people saying they don't use a wet cutter. Do some of you use a grinder for all cuts that need it? Even on porcelain?
Does any one know if Aqua defence is ok with electric heating matts?
Also, would you put the matt under the tanking and risk trapping in moisture or put the matt over the tanking membrane?
Hello fellow Tilers, I am in need of assistance as I am doing a 26m slate floor job, the electric cutter I hired is not up to task, what are the advantages/disadvantages between table top electric cutters to rail mounted tile saw benches? The one I hired is a 110v table top, but I am now looking...

Hi All
Been using a Plasplugs Contractor tile cutter DWW150 (150mm wheel) - now given up after 10 years or so.
Quite happy with it - although noisy, and do have spare wheels for it.
Should I buy same again (about £107) - or better suggestion? I have Rubi score & snaps - never been able to...
Anyone on the forum used UHeat's electric UFH?
Got a very very good price frim them today. But conscious that I've never used them before and don't want to trip myself up.
Their ecoboards? Any feedback?
Opted for their loose wire and touch screen start. Again, any feedback?
