Hello this is my first visit to this site.
I'm constructing a water feature
which consists of a 1000 x 1000 x 200 deep concrete block wall
which i'm tiling in stepped slate strips.
I need to cover the top of the wall with a 1000x250x35mm
bit of slate but need to glue a cover stip 1000x60...

Quick question, Tiled an outside step today risers and treds but the sides were in poor shape so plan was to use 6mm backer board beded in SPF on sides of step then tile as normal finishing with a brass trim over the edges of the side tiles as customer asked.

OK im tiling a shop front in a couple of weeks first exterior tiling i've done.
the substrate is ply but in some places concrete.
Im going to use a cement based flexible adhesive any advice on priming or anything else thanks
also any tips on grout to use as very wide gap knocking on 10mm...
