Porcelain floor tiles don't seem fit for purpose

We have just had B&Q fit a kitchen but although we have had B&Q tiles also, we got an independent fitter to level and install the floor as he was half the price of B&Q. We think he did an excellent job, however a couple of tiles have chipped within a month - not at the edges but in the middle...

Can Kerakoll Fugalite Bio be used with quartz floor tiles?

I have phoned the rep for Kerakoll who said we would need to test a small area of tile to make sure it did not stain. Unfortunately it is not possible to get a small sample of the grout to do this (and we have yet to take to delivery of the tiles), but I am wondering if anyone here has the...

Acceptable lippage in large format floor tiles

hi all, I wrote some time back about issues with ufh system, we managed to get this laid and poured a screed over to level the floor. The screed wasn’t perfectly level but there wasn’t a great deal of variance across the floor. We employed a tiler as opposed to DIY due to large format tiles...

Newbie poster here, in search of advice. We had an extension built nearly 3 years ago, and a tiled floor with UFH throught the ground floor. I’m happy that both the builder and tiler knew what they were doing, and the overall quality of work is excellent, however we have a few loose floor...
