Hi, can anyone tell me whether Sovereign gripmaster wall tile adhesive is suitable for bathroom floors please. If not I have made a booboo as I have nigh on finished the bathroom floor and have just realided the adhesive is for walls. It does not say on the label not to use on floors.

How many of you are called on to do mortar work? It's few and far between here in most markets in the US. There are selected markets where mud is still king, however. I learned from a guy who had been floating mud since the 60's, and I think he learned it from a guy who had started back in the...
Just nipped home for some lunch and watched the news. I've never really noticed before how "Wow" the floors in Westminster are. Which leads me to ask the following:
How were those types of floors fixed?
How did they get them so perfect over such a vast area?
Are there any companies in...
I have been asked to tile floors for someone, however this will be the first time I have tiled on a new concrete floor (Bison beam).
The floor has been constructed using bison beams. I have a feeling that as it is a new floor there could be a risk of shrinkage. If this is the case I presume...

Can you just lay tiles onto a damproof mat without the ply because it stabilises the floor enough together with...

I'm due to be tiling a bathroom floor soon. It's onto a cement based screed that runs out about 5mm from the level from one end to the other, that is to say that it undulates.
It's a while since I did a floor and I was just wondering what deviation from the level (not horiaontal but level) you...

Looking for information on how you guys finish travertine floors, always left with residue of the grout, the grout tends to go white while cleaning down, and have some small kickers in the tiles well maybe a 1mm, Do you sand then polish the floors to give a totally flat smooth floor or just buff...
