Ive got 2 tubs of Bal green star ready mixed addy for some ceramics 200-300 tiles for a bathroom to tile onto plasterboard. Ill be leaving it a week before grouting..
Will this be ok and sufficient time to dry and are the size of the tiles ok.

For the second time in the last couple of months, ive had problems where the BAL tubbed addy i was using hasnt gone off (1st time with Green star, 2nd with Grip). Has anybody else had this problem? The only thing i can think might have caused it may have been because the tub could have been open...
got a job next week 27m2 polished porcelain floor there is 6 m2 of floor that has been added in the last week with green screed i know that mapei do ultraflex and bal do green screed for this situation but quite expensive is there any cheaper alternatives that will do same job already priced job...

Hi, I have a job to tile approx 16m2 of Limestone directly onto concrete. The concrete has been down for about 2 weeks and there is not enough hieght to lay a screed. The concrete is relatively flat and smooth.

I have fitted green water resistant plasterboard to my bathroom walls. For the shower area, do I need to prime the the plasterboard before applying tanking (BAL WP1 kit), or is it fine to tank directly?

Untill recently I had never tried Green star. I had small tiling job in a downstairs WC so decided to give green start a try. I tiled a wall with Mapei's basic d1 (Mapestik) and aonther wall with BAL basic d1 (green star)

Am confused by so much conflicting advice info about what needs to be done first to tile onto moisture resistant plasterboard.
Completely refitting bathroom. Internal partition walls are new moisture resistant plasterboard (being replacements for ruined old stramut strawboard walls)
