hi all, anyone have any bother with their marcrist semi cont blades,i've purchased 2 in the past 9 months and about 3 or 4 segments have dropped off whilst cutting, and their only getting normal use?
I got a new makita 115 grinder today 240v came with a box and diamond blade and was under £40 some good bargains on tools out there right now :thumbsup:
Anybody come across an angle grinder that has a 20mm arbor as opposed to the usual 22mm one? I came across some diamond blades when I was in East Asia that are 105mm with a 20mm centre - I just wonder what they're used in.

just used these bad boys to remove sand /cement mortar from flagstones on a job im doing,dunno if many of you guys have used them but they were excellent.the only thing was i ran out lol used 2 in 4 hours and plodded of to bee and spew for a new one,,,exactly the same one was 21.50 compared to...
I would just like some advice on the advantages of using an angle grinder on tiles,do they make cutting curves alot easier and how easy are they to use/what type of blade is best? Also whats a good one to buy?

Sounds rash I know, however I wish to cut a straight line alonfg some vertical wall tiles to slip in underneath a marble shelf. I wondered if I could use an angle grinder to cut back an edge? :helpsmilie

Im looking into getting a variable speed grinder. Halfords do a cheap one does anyone know if its any good or am I better off paying more for a decent one? Im mainly going to use it for cutting glass mosaics.

Just spent a small fortune on marble tiles and intend to tile into recesses but have been wracking my brains about how to do this, seeing as you can't get round-overs made of stone. And we must agree, plastic would look naff.

Anyone know where i can get some new dust covers for my grinders (ones with hoover bit on) mine are old and knackered.
