Morning All,
Just finished a average size bathroom with metro tiles and light grey grout, I am happy with the job but I am concerned how long it took to grout almost 2 days, this seems far to much time, can I speed things up? Any ideas welcome.
Thanks
Morning All,
I've recently finished an average size bathroom with white metro tiles and light grey grout, I'm happy how the job went but I am not happy that it took me 1 and a half days to grout, this seems far to long, was I cleaning up to much? How can i speed this up.
Thanks
Kitchen fitter used charcoal rather than grey grout which probably makes this look worse, but to my eye the edging is not well done with gaps and sharp ends, the grouting is uneven and several tiles are poorly shaped. Can this be rescued? Am I being too fussy here?
Hi there, I wonder if you can help. I have some porcelain tiles and I believe there is a little movement which means that the grout is cracked and has come out - see pics. (I've tried three tilers and always had bad outcomes). So now the floor always looks dirty and I'm also extremely worried...

I’m a newbie both to this site and tiling.

I know this is an area of some controversy so I thought there might be some interest in following up a DIY project I discussed back in 2012 here:
Tiling onto plywood - https://www.tilersforums.com/threads/tiling-onto-plywood.56767/
Well, seven years on with the shower in almost daily use there...

Having some limestone tiles installed, they are very porous. For the floor they are 450x450x20mm and walls are 600x300x15mm.
Currently only the floor area has been laid with part of the entrance to the hall. The wall area has had part laid and grouted. Unfortunately the installer was under...
I have grouted a floor using the BAL Smoke grey however it is not coming out that colour and is very patchy. Some bits are light grey and some are dark. It has also happened to me before. I am using a fresh clean bucket, added water and stirred with my hand with a glove on to get the right...
Hey guys,
I am wondering what the best solution would be to fix my parent's shower enclosure. The grout in the base is completely missing and filled with Silicon in places. The rest of it is fine!
Any advice would be really appreciated.
