It was finished 2 weeks ago and despite the overall effect being very nice, there are, I think, a few problems..please could you advise me and let me know if...

Floor area about 1.3msq so smallish. I checked with the supplier (Tile choice ) and tiles ok for 150 watt UFH...
Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has used the Wunda overfloor heating with the backer boards dry fitted as a floating surface with taped joints? The backer boards are put at the top of the overfloor heating without an adhesive or any screed and then there is an adhesive of type S2 (very...

hi, I'm looking for advice on laying porcelain floor tiles onto a sand/cement screed with underfloor heating throughout. I've been told to use some kind of matt or mesh? Is this necessary or can the tiles not just be stuck with rapid set and the sand/cement screed have a primer applied like sbr...
has anyone used it? At the moment there are a few brands competing in this market of uncoupling / underfloor heating combo's, but this ditra duo claims to have a special thermal fleece backing that insulates and pushes 80% of the heat upwards. I'd be interested to know how that compares to an...

have a large concrete screed with underfloor heating in pipes which has been down for over 12 months
It requires tiling but heating will not be connected for a further 6 weeks
Could anyone advise me if it would be safe to lay the tiles before heating up the slab?
Thanks
Anyone used it ?

Hi, we have travertine tiles all over ground floor that are slowly disintergrating and developing hundreds of holes.
The UFH is wet and buried in a concrete slab (I think) to give a good thermal mass but would it be better to tile over as this would just add a bit more mass or lift them all and...
