Sometimes if you have bought white goods for the bathroom project the holes may not be in the right place to match the plumbing layout of the room.
But rather than abandon that trendy granite sink or that sleek white toilet it is possible for less the £40 to place the correct holes into your...

Hi there,
I had an 'escape of water' between my sink and toilet unit in the bathroom and am dealing with the insurance company. I fixed the leak myself. The loss adjuster came out and saw a pool of water on the tiles that was visible when you lift the lid above the cistern and said that this...

There were some teething problems with the plumbing in the shower (2 leaks), then we carried on having a leak, but it seemed to be leaking through the grout. Some Silicon was apply to areas of grout...
I am doing a bathroom installation but it is currently a wet room. Can anyone advise best way to remove floor and level for tiling and any further treatment required? Cheers
I got home from work very late tonight and found my plumber had been and moved the bath into the space, fastened to wall and connected the taps. Although he told me the bath fitted perfectly a few weeks ago [at which stage I could easily have boarded one of the end walls] now there is a 1.5 cm...
Hi - we just installed some polished travertine tiles which were finished to a high gloss. Topps tiles gave us grout cleaner to use with them which has taken the polish off and left a white residue or has bleached all of the tiles. They assured us it was suitable for travertine but i don't think...
One year, I decided to buy my mother-in-law a cemetery plot as a Christmas gift...
The next year, I didn't buy her a gift.
When she asked me why, I replied,
"Well, you still haven't used the gift I bought you last year!"
And that's how the fight started...
Just by accident I discovered a very important adjustment on my D24000. The blade has always been over to one side of the exit-slot that it passes through when it has cut through the tile and was scraping into the aluminium more and more. By sheer accident whilst cleaning it down after a job I...

Another piece of advice given to me is to check this by tapping the tile with my knuckles.
When I tap the middle, most tiles sounds solid but off centre on some I get a sort of hollow sound.
Majority of the hallway tiles sound hollow in the middle.
Any cause for concern?
What will happen?
How to...
