Hi all, new to this forum so thank you in advance for reading my post. I'll try to be short and concise.
On Friday my kitchen plash back was tiled with 10mm thick marble moasics with 12.5mm trim by a tiler who had previously done my kitchen/dining room floor. Unfortunately, I feel the kitchen...
I have been asked to quote for re-doing a failed kitchen floor and as part of the quote need to price for a complete removal and re-fit of the kitchen.
Before I approach a kitchen fitter though, do you think it's possible to remove and safely reinstall silestone island tops?
This kitchen has...

Hi all, thanks for having me. I've always been inspired by my dad who has, over the past 30 years, renovated my family home adding his own personal perfectionist touch.
So I managed to save up enough money to put down a deposit on a house and I've been renovating it back from brick over the...

Really enjoy DIY. So much so that I am finding new things to do even if they don't need it.
Joined this forum to see if I could discuss how to make my own underfloor heating for laminate flooring or if I buy a mat, 500mm X 600mm.

My old boss (not a tiler) did the “dot n dab” method which obviously is not the way to go!

2nd- are there any methods when using adhesive to mix in the wall sealant with it so you dont have to wait for the walls to dry before tiling ?
thanks ..

Hi Folks
Long story short, a friends firm have been doing a kitchen reno for me along with some other work. I let them go to it whilst on holiday, and i'm not best pleased at the tiling I've returned to.
I've attached a couple of pics & wee video links, am I being over critical? (I don't think...
Hi,
I’m about to move into a new build development. We have opted to tile the kitchen ourselves but have some questions regarding this. We’ve done tiling projects before.
As this is a new build, and we will be tiling onto the concrete slab what preparation is required? Am I right in saying...
She wants me to install brick style tiles on the sides of her island cabinet. She wants to secure particle board to the sides first.
1. How do I secure the particle board to the vinyl sides of the island?
2. I don't think cement would be a good option to install the tile on the particle...
