I have been tiling now for over 33 years and I have tried lots of kneepads from the cheap inserts up to The Alpro pads available from Tradetiler. I have used old sponge to kneel on and even rolled up cement bags to keep my knees of damp sand and cement screed in the years gone by.

After opting for foam inerts for my last job ( 600 x 600's ) it took my knees a week to calm down from water on the knee - they were useless .
I'm looking at the snicker bead inserts as my next purchase . What about ome of the more expensive gel pads - I don't mind putting up with strap rash...

Hi, I'm sat at home suffering from this, for about the 4th/5th time in last 4 years. First time I injured my knee it was due to carrying my 3 yr old daughter on my shoulders for too many hours one hot day. Now it seems to be a recurring problem which obviously is aggravated by kneeling down...

I am thinking of buying myself some new knee pads and wanted to know what the best 1s are. I use rubi pads at the moment and will prob get another pair of them unless there are some on the market that are better??
hi any one recomend a good set of knee pads after being on the floor for the last 4 jobs my knees are hurting never really got on with pads seem to hurt back of my legs where strap sits but believe they have come a long way[gel] have looked at the rubber rubi knelling pad so might go for that...
i was told i should use knee pads on a contract by health and safety 2 days ago . i refused and i was told to leave site has anyone else had this problem before.
