Did this small bathroom few weeks back, returned today to take a few snaps.
Shame he hadn't fitted the toilet seat! Haha

No trims or architrave around the door, client wanted a shadow gap, so two L shaped top cuts were hand polished to resemble factory finish as much as...

Hi I recently fitted 6no. 3000mm x 1500mm 6mm porcelain tiles , customer could not find a tiler willing to take on the job so I got blagged into it ! (It actually went really well!) my question is how much would you have wanted to fit them ? They were all to cut down in width and in height too...
Just picked up an email for this:
The 1200mm cutter was advertised for £197.50 inc vat! (600 cutter was £80)

I'm fixing about 90 metres of 10mm 800x800 porcelain tiles at the moment, using a Rubi Tx 1200 cutter.
As per usual with large format porcelain, getting clean consistent cuts is very hit and miss.
Decided to change my normal 22mm wheel for a bearinged version to see if that made any difference...

As I had to lift a lot of the floorboards for the new pipework, I decided to replace the lot with 18mm WBP ply. The plan then was to use Ditra and then tile. I'm just a little...

Hi,
I have some large porcelain tiles (600x400x11mm). I was planning to use Bal singlepart flex to fix them to wall however someone has advised me to use mosaicfix instead as it has better hold and the tiles are heavy.
Is this correct?
Thanks
Dave
Have a job installing the tiles in the link. 900x450 slate effect porcelain.
I have an overhead wet cutter but only it will only allow a max of 750mm on a straight cut. Does anyone know where and what kit I could hire to cut these tiles.

Hello, laying down 44mm x 66mm porcelain floor tiles on perfectly level floor. which adhesive shall I use? Mapei Keraquick or Keraflex?
Datasheet for keraflex says surfaces ready for use in 14 days, do you have to wait that long, its a bathroom floor.
Any guidance appreciated. Thanks

I'm planning to lay 60cmx60cm porcelain tiles onto stud and plasterboard walls. Some areas are perfect but in others the wall is way out with a trough of up to 10mm from plumb.
What is the recommended technique - I was thinking of running a 96" darby vertically along the wall and then running...
