I'm having my ensuite refurbished with ceramic wall tiles laid in a brick effect with a brick effect mosaic border. The tiling has been done today and looks great but the border is not flush with the wall tiles so you can see tiles directly below and above the border which concerns me.

If this has been covered before, then apologies:
If fixing a mosaic centre feature in between porcelain tiles. For example the centre of a shower.
Is it normal that the grout lines do not line up? Mosaics on nets seem to be 300 exactly, then perhaps the porcelain tile

I have a job tomorrow, the tiles are 700x300 with a mosaic border.
But these are 600x300, similar to those in the link below.
They are also the same thickness as the tile.
Any tips for fitting these.
I usually put the backing sheets onto smaller mosaics!!
I would usually lay tiles this size...

Any bright ideas? :santa_wink:
Hi,
I may have landed a job involving 30 square metres of 20x20 glass mosaic priced at £50.00 a metre. The job is in London. It starts in 6 weeks time and could lead to more work within the same building.
Is anyone interested in splitting it with me? They must have experience of mosaic.

Has anyone grouted stainless steel mosaic tiles with epoxy grout?
I’ve got about 6sqm of a kitchen splashback to do. Customer bought tiles from Walls & Floors and they gave her two 3kg tubs of Kerapoxy for the job.
I went to CTD yesterday and got speaking to a couple of tilers who recommended...
The 'web' seems to recommend 4mm notched trowel for mosaics (porcelain)
Is this correct and if so is the notch smaller than you would use on the floor to stop adhesive coming through the gaps?
Many thanks for your help

Hello all, I have got to lay some mosaic sheets onto a shower wet room floor, only about 1.5m/2.
If it was to be tiled with normal tiles, I would use a 10 trowel so I can meet the adjoining tiled floor..
What trowel should I use for the the bed.. Or how would you approach this.
The floor is...
