Hello folks, Im preparing to tile 24sqm of kitchen floor onto a suspended wooden floor. I replaced the joists, 'under meshed' them and filled between with 100mm of Rockwool and have added loads of noggins, SBR primed the under & sides of the 18mm WBP plywood and screwed down at 150mm centres...

the duty of care law that we are all under now, do you think it is fair that the tradesman is accountable in a court of law for his work ?, or do you think it is a bit over the top? should we try and protect ourselves with contractual jargon on the back's of our estimate's ? perhaps you already...

Ok i'm not sure whether i'm luck or not, but i'm wondering whether the stuff/surface underneath the tiles is just a sand and cement mix or just an undercoat plaster.

did some franky & benny,s years ago feature around front of bar area .4 different coloured quarry tiles ,yellow black orane & brown. had to smash them into little pieces then fix them what a mare .then grout with charcoal grout. looked good though

I've been looking for tile trim for a job im doing in January ( box section with three way mitre). I've cut a three way mitre on my course where it doesn't matter too much if you get it wrong you just get another piece of trim and try again. On these forums I read that Genesis do a corner piece...
