I spent ages in B+Q the other night trying to find tile adhesive suitable for stone tiles (kitchen wall). Several makes stated they were not suitable (ceramic only?) - the type I bought did not say anything - it was 'Buildfix Ultimate grab' by Mapei

Been wondering if there is a big difference in quality/looks in natural stone depending on where it origanates from or where it is made into tiles. for example if a travertene tile originally came from UK would it be better/worse than italy. Does the UK produce good natural stone tiles. :8:
