Hi,
Can anyone recommend a tailer that will be able to create a 45deg edge on a tail to maintain a nice looking edge on the wall as on the attached link below ( watch from 55th second).
Thanks for your help
Hi,
Does anyone out there have any of these discontinued tiles left over from a project?
I have finally ripped out my 29 year old (I kid you not!) kitchen and due to the different layout of my new (yippee...) kitchen units, I need some of these tiles to fill in the gaps which will be on show...
Sold my last Rubi, TX1200 last month and purchased the Montolit Flashline Evo rail system that goes up to 3200mm ( no chance I’m ever doing them!! ). I bought it to replace the Rubi as it can sit in my little Combo and is nice and light compared to the Rubi (about 4 stone lighter)
So now I have...
hi,
i've tiled my bathroom and now nervous about grouting it.
is there a type of grout that's easier / better to use for a novice ?
i've been reading some reviews and weber or grout 3000 seem to be what i'm leaning towards ? or BAL seem to have good selection of colours.
i'm a bit concerned...
My sitting room floor is laid with reclaimed Norfolk Pamment tiles (hand made terracotta) - they are in all manner of states of repair, some smooth, some pitted, some with traces of old tile paint, some clean, some smooth, some rough.
It is a very rustic look for a very old, small cottage

I’ve been asked to tile 5 bathrooms in a property in hove but I can’t fit the job in. Ideally needs to be started in the next 3 weeks, and will need to be a very good finish.
If anyone local is interested let me know and I’ll pass on the details. It’s for a developer so could lead to more work...
Hi. I have a shower area to be tiled. Tiles roughly 400mm x 200mm with bal adhesives and grouts. Walls prepped with moisture board and tanked. It is approximately 6.5m2. The job is in Ealing. If anyone is keen please contact me.
Regards Lee
The tiler has done an awful job on our bathroom. There are lips, poor grout lines, poor cuts, poor layout, poorly finished and mismatched trim with the main issue for me being around the window.
Yesterday he came back to finish off but we came to an agreement for him to walk away as I wasn’t...
I made a post earlier this year regarding poorly fixed tiles and after much to and fro the contractors agreed to start replacing the tiles. They have since redone the hallway and front room and whilst they now have a nice solid bed under them, they are all at different heights to each other...
Aye up people.
I’m new here so looking for advice. I have a few full bathrooms lined up and 3 of them have 600x600 porcelain tiles. I also have to tile to a linear drain so will have a few diagonal cuts. My trusted old manual Bosch cutter got bent so I now need a new one. Has any ever used the...
Hello Everyone, I competed a Tiling course not long ago and really enjoyed it. I'm looking for work experience in the Manchester area to try and build up some enough skills to find employment within the industry. I have my own tools, van and PPE. And I can offer free labour and an enthusiastic...
I've got to reform this tired hot tub. The floor around the outside will be staying, I'll be sealing it but the client likes it..
I'll also be painting the shell, colour not fixed yet but probably dark blue.
What I'm struggling with is the outside ( currently mosaic ). I quite like the idea of...
Can anyone help me out.

Hi
I have just had a bathroom re done and the bathroom done. Job took 4 weeks instead of the agreed 2 weeks.
I’m not happy with the tiling and wanted to get an expert opinion.
Firstly the tiles are not straight on lots of them. (Edges sticking with shadows at night) and the grout is flaky...
