Tiling Swimming Pool

Expansion joints around Swimming pool
Anyone know the correct spec for expansion in regards what material to use. Bearing in mind the pool promenades are is washed down each night . I am having to write a letter to a builder which needs to state that the wrong type has been used (normal sanitary sealant). Thanks- Gazzer
