ive just picked up a job renewing 70 bathroom floors in hotel, and they want me to supply the tiles.
They are on a tight budget so ive shopped about and picked up a few differant samples for them to look at, mainly porcelain but a couple of ceramics.
Was wondering what the building...
I'm just an ignorant customer but I wondered if someone could possibly help me. I am wanting to buy large polished porcelain floor tiles and have looked at two products. One is twice as expensive as the other but looked at from the side a top layer in the tile is twice as thick. What exactly...
Hi,
I had underfloor heating and large poreceain tiles fitted a few months back and a month after they were fitted, some of the tiles became wobbly - they literally wobble when you stand on these, or walk across them. The grouting between the tiles also came out in a lot of the tiles.
I called...

I need to cut a notch roughly 100mm x 25mm on the edge of a glazed porcelain floor tile. What would be the best way to do this without chipping the glaze.
Cut small fingers with a wet tile saw or
cut the 25mm slots with a wet tile cutter then run a diamond blade in a grinder along the...
I’m in need of a bit of advice.
I’ve laid some 600x600 porcelain floor tiles in a kitchen and have just applied a coat of LTP MPG sealer, which I’ve buffed up and am going to leave overnight.
I’m not sure what to do next. Should I grout them and then apply another coat of MPG, or apply the...
I have just purchased some Jakarta Black Polished Porcelain Floor Tiles (300x300) from Tile Giant and was also supplied with LTP MPG sealer, should I apply a coat of sealer prior to installing tiles, or seal once I have put them down ? (or seal before and after)
Thanks

I’m having problems cutting some 10mm 60x60 polished porcelain floor tiles.
I cant get a nice smooth edge. It splinters the surface on the edge when I cut them.
I’ve been and bought a new saw blade and its made no difference.
Any advice??
Hello. I'm getting a new kitchen fitted and am trying to decide whether to go for Limestone floor tiles or limestone effect porcelain. The tiles will be fitted over a wet underfloor heating system, so is either more efficient for heat conductivity? I have also received conflicting advice from...
All - any help would be greatly appreciated!!
We have recently purchased the above tiles and had them laid in our kitchen. The tile laying is perfect, and the tiles look great when just cleaned. The problem is that keeping them clean seems impossible. Water marks show up after cleaning...

A google search brought up various translucent spray finishes...

Hi, I have just joined the forum and am looking for some info. I have bought & had laid (about 3 months ago), some cream B&Q 600 x 600 porcelain tiles. I must admit they looked pretty good. However, I have now noticed that some of the tiles are loose at the corners. When I tap the tiles they are...
I've recently had porcelain floor tiles fitted & grouted in kitchen. Two weeks later I've found out that the ceramic adhesive (evostick fastset)has been used by the tiler.
Should I get the tiles lifted and relaid with correct adhesive? Surely risk of damage to tiles is high during the lifting...
Hi there
We are wanting to use porcelain floor tiles but prefer the polished look. Am being told that once sealed they won't need sealing again, and elsewhere that it should be re-done once a year. Really want something that is easy maintenance! Should we opt for glazed ones instead or is...
