Hi...
I'm so confused!
I need to choose some tiles for an en suite - the same for the walls and floor. The walk-in shower will be at one end with a partial glass screen but no divide on the floor or tray so (I've been told) it's a wetroom.
There's lots of advice I've been given but don't know...
Hi
Is there any specialists on here who can polish/round off external edges to 6mm porcelain tiles.
The customer would like this doing and there are 3 niches & 2 doorways
Thanks.
Hello. Dipping toe into tiling after my so-called 'professional' tiler made such a mess of my wetroom that I'll have to rip it all out and start again.
So, am cutting large format (600x600) porcelain tiles. 8mm thick. Using a Rubi dw-200-lp wet cutter with new Marcrist CK850 blade. Used the...
We have around 50m2 of 120cm x 20cm porcelain floor tiles to lay onto 75mm screed. I understand the tiles should not be laid for at least a couple of weeks after pouring the screed and using ditra matting or similar would be wise. There will also be wet underfloor heating which we may turn on...

So for quite some time now my weapon of choice for re-fabricating tile edges and finishing mitred has been one of these.
A 120# metal disc, great bits of kit.
Recently the supplier stopped selling them and finding a replacement was impossible.
I pestered a few companies to get them in...
Morning all, I have a large area approx 106sq meters in total of an extension I'm looking to have done in wood effect. Large open plan, hallway, utility, cloakroom. Some very useful info on this thread. Has anyone ever tried to do a border inlay of any kind or a single plank border similar to...

Hi Everyone,
1st proper post on here, wanted to share a job I'm currently on.
Customer wanted to re-tile his pool deck, it was in a bad way with pretty much all of the tiles having a crack in them (sorry no pictures of old tiles), when I removed them I could see why. Fair enough the dot and...
I have about 42 sqm of porcelain tiles that are too slippery for my dogs when wet and I want to coat them with something gritty to make them a little anti slip.
I have looked at a clear resin mixed with a little sand as an option.
Any recommendation for a better option?

A while back I posted a question on the quality of Norcros adhesives in general.
This time want to know if anybody has experience of using Norcros "white porcelain and stone tile adhesive" with porcelain tiles on walls and would they recommend it?
There are 3 types though...

Afternoon all.
I have been contacted by a new customer who says they have a problem with a stain on a polished white porcelain floor tile.
They tell me the stain is from a terracotta dish they put on the floor for a dog drinking bowl, but it has left a nice brown stain on the tile which they...

Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd start another thread, rather than clutter my other 2 up! Which will hopefully be useful for any other newbies looking for advice.
Looking for a porcelain tile cutter that will cut the majority of tiles (approx. 600mm x 300mm x 10mm).
I appreciate I may need a wet...
We are looking for a tiler to undertake a commercial tiling job on our offices (2 floors) in NG22 Nottinghamshire.
The tiles are thin porcelain tiles 1200 x 600 x 4.8mm, we have purchased just over 500 sq meters, 240 sq meters of tiling in the offices with another job required at a residential...
As the title suggests. Looking for recommendations on a new porcelain grinder blade and coring/drilling attachment for drilling holes for pipework.
Don't have the tiles specs yet. Just size 300×1000
So decent thickness I'd assume
Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice please on this rather unusual project (for me anyway)
I've got a small section under my front window that I was going to put some PVC cladding onto but while tiling my kitchen splashback I thought the tiles would look good on this section of wall.

So, I have 35m2 of bathroom to tile in 300x600x9mm porcelain. They're rough textured riven effect.
