many times to get a hole cut for pipes and other
pieces in the bathroom, but no luck with a drill
or angle grinder. The tiles are just too brittle and
keep cracking.
The tile shop have said we need to get the tiles
sent for waterjet cutting...

hi guys tried to drill a porcelain tile today ,had two new 32 mm 365 drill bits and they both didn't make a mark on it ,I have never ever come across anything like it before any help would be great as have about 38 holes to drill
About a year ago, I had 64 sqm porcelain tiles installed on top of a concrete slab, forming a patio.
This was part of a large build, and there was a clear spec that the tile adhesive be applied as a "bed" using a "notched trowel method", which I think means that the whole underside of the tile...

(nice easy cuts with my RUBI TR-700)
Sealed using FILA Polished Porcelain protector (2 passes with a sponge, great product and pretty fumey too!)
