Our fan extractor has previously been attached to porcelain tiles in bathroom using adhesive but came away this morning. I did not put this up.
Whatever adhesive was used it stuck well to tiles but not the plastic and has come away from the casing. Can anyone recommend a good strong adhesive...
As the title suggests I'm hoping to get some good advice from you folks about tile adhesive for tiling 20mm porcelain tiles in a garden.
The base hasn't been prepared yet but I imagine it will be 75mm concrete to an area of 8M x 4M. Forgive my ignorance but I haven't done this before so i'm...

I am using a Marcrist CK850 blade on a Rubi TC-180 wet cutter and cutting 1 meter Porcelain tiles that are 20mm thick and seem pretty tough.
It takes me about 20 minutes to make a 1 meter cut using light pressure on the saw. Also, Ithe blade generates a lot of sparks.
Just looking to get...
Hi. I'm relatively new to tiling, and have begun offering it as a service alongside my existing skills in property maintenance/repair and general construction etc. I am not a "time served" or particularly experienced tiler, but I have been on a week long course to make sure I understand the...
A year ago we completely refurbished our kitchen including a new porcelain tiled floor installed by the builder.
I think he put ply on top on floor boards, and then put the tiles on top 600x600 on 30sqm. I think the ply was prepped.
The grout is cracking in many places now and the tiles are...
Hi I am attempting my first tiling job. I have 8mm porcelain tiles and it is a wetroom so I have waterproofed the area with waterproofing tape. Where the tape is stuck on the wall with tile adhesive, it slightly protrudes from the wall surface meaning when I am laying the floor tiles along the...

Hi there,
I'm about to undertake a job involving laying 60cm x 60cm porcelain slabs in my garden. The area I wanted to cover currently has old concrete paving slabs that are still solid, but have seen better days and aren't perfectly level. My question is can I lay the porcelain tiles on a...
Hi i'm self building my own barn conversion and have a anhydrite screed and underfloor heating.

Would like recommendations for 300 x 600 (x10mm) porcelain tiles, on wall inside a walk-in shower enclosure, tiling directly onto tile backer board.
DIY tiler with limited experience. I think I need a powder adhesive for this size tile, but it needs a long bucket life - had a mare using penny...
So it's my first ever time tiling and I'm using 25cmx25xm porcelain tiles. I'm tiling directly onto a concrete floor which is level but I'm not sure whether I need to prep the concrete first before applying the adhesive? Should I do this first and if so can anyone recommend a good primer for...

Hello, just bought one of these to cut large format porcelain tiles and whilst it snaps 10mm porcelain tiles no problem, I can't cut the 18mm variant despite the spec stating it can cut up to 20mm. Have I missed the small print somewhere that 20mm excludes porcelain? I'm using the scoring wheel...
