    I laid a trave floor last week trying to find rapid set grout. only ardex MG but in the wrong colour Microban wrong colour so used Mapei. You have to use a rapid set ady to reduce the chance of water staining on natural tiles so why does slow setting grout say its fine for natural stone? I dont...

    Rapid set

    Ive been told that rapidset tiling cement can cause problems in the way the tile sits. is it true that when it goes off it can move the tile very slightly causing a slight step/lip between each tile. What are the ways to get round this? Does the amount of adhesive used make a difference...

    Mapei rapid set

    Does anyone use Mapei rapidset on a regular basis? if so why???? Used it about 5 times now and not really through choice. The stuff is horrible, takes a bloody age to set, maybe rename it rapid (ish) set. Good grouts awful adhesives.

    rapid or slow set

    Quoting for a 20m2 floor with 16inch tiles in a reception area for a business. Just wondering, I normally like to use slow setting adhesive - saves endless mixing, but in this situtation is it more typical to use rapidset so they can walk on it sooner?

    just been looking on the Bal website and can't seem to see any rapid setting wall adhesive in tubs. the ones they have seem to take 24 hours to dry. can this be right? surely you're not having to wait a full 24 hours before grouting?
