I am in the process of sanding emulsion off of plasterboard. The prob I am having is that the colour of the paint is so close to the plaster I cant tell the paint is removed until im beyond the paper.
Im thinking of just going over it a few times to take the majority of it off.
I remember...
Due to the difficulties in getting honed marble in the colours I want, someone suggested to me that brick acid will remove the polish from the surface. They did say I'd need to use a colour enhancer after to bring the colour back out.
Anyone done this? I'm looking to do it with Rojo Alicante...
I asked my brother to tile the wall and he made a bit of a mess with the adhesive. There was lots of it on the fronts of the tiles, which was fairly easy to remove, but the hard bit is all the adhesive between the tiles.
I want to start grouting but need to remove some of the adhesive first...
Hi,
After grouting my sealed travertine tiles, i'm finding it difficult to remove the white residue smeared across the surface.
A wet sponge is working, sloowwwly, but its going to take many, many wipes!
Using my hand on the tiles when dry removes a lot of white dust, but i don't fancy...

hi
any suggestions for this?I am just talking about Bangor slates -ie so seal on them to be protected -just their natural state.
Of course I could just scrape of the (white) paint carefully and then rub it with water (it is not that much of an eyesore but it is a bit offensive)
But I would...
