Because of on going issues I need to find an alternative to hacksaw mitre box junior hacksaw etc and just want some reassuring comments that the proxxon kg80 mini chop saw is worth the couple of hundred outlay for cutting tile trim? Do you have one and is it worth the money? Also any other...
I got a cheap wet saw after reading good reviews and the results are disappointing. It's a 750W Erbauer one and it leaves a lot of chipping.
One of the biggest issues I have is with breaking the corners of my tiles. They are 300x600 and there's a lot of friction between them and the table. I...

I finally bought one and I've been looking at them for years.
You see; I like tools and especially really nice, well made tools.
But I didn't think that I could justify spending the best part of £1000 on what effectively appeared to be just a small table top wet saw.
So for the past several...

anyone used one, have one of these? I'm a dewalt guy and like the saw a lot, but its a pain when you want to take off more than 300mm off a tile and it fouls on the motor support arm.
Afternoon all,
Has anyone ever used the above cutter. It can be used with a guide rail that will fit a 1200 tile which I seem to use more and more and looks to be a handy piece of kit if you have limited space to store a wet cutter.
Thanks
Rick

Hi Guys, I'm new to tiling, only been tiling a couple of years professionally but have been told by other trades that it's spot on. So far been using an old wickes wet saw but it's now well past it's useable life! Looking at an erbauer in screwfix for about £92, but it has just as many bad...
Having recently completed a 13 day course at UK Pro Tiling, I was looking at buying a wet saw, just wondering if anyone had any recommendations??
Thanks in advance
Purchased a 750w Macallister table saw. This is a discontinued machine at B&q replaced by a similar device.
Machine looks very similar to an Erbauer machine previously sold at Screw Fix.
The machine is relatively easy to put together, produced low (relatively) amount of water spray and the...
