I always enjoy seeing the products which are used in the UK, and which we can't get here.
I read a lot here about Schluter Ditra being used in the UK, but I don't recall anyone mentioning that they used the Schluter Kerdi shower system. We just finished a shower with the full Kerdi line of...
I'm considering buying some Ditra to bridge areas where old conc floor meets new extension. There is no UFH. I was considering a strip perhaps half metre (or maybe full roll width) wide over the areas (mostly doorways), along with expansion joint.
Is this a common way to do it, - being...

So I was going to put down No More Ply over the chipboard...
I have worked for a tiling company that installed UFH, the Warmup type, over Ditra matting. However, there seem to be views that doing so is not a good idea....the theory is that the wire heats up and melts the Ditra??.........could anyone enlighten me on this?

Hi guys, just need some advice. Im taking up a suspended floor already tiled with schluter matting. Is it possible to retile onto the matting or will i have to pull that up aswell? Might seem like a stupid question but as i said, aint worked with schluter before. Cheers

I'll have a picture on Monday of the bench covered in Kerdi and ready for tile.
I had this bench installed in about 5 minutes. I then spent about...
