    i am screeding a floor tomorrow 20sq m 60mm thick in sand and cement the builder who is a chippy by trade was going to to it ,i have to lay a 60x60 polished porcelain tile, so i told him i will do the screeding .whats the biggest area you have screeded in a day ?

    I am a newbie and on an ICA/NVQ evening tiling course in Nottingham. Anyway I need to level part of my hallway at home, the area is about 2m square, starting at about 2mm running off to the front door to about 40mm. I thought self leveling might become too expensive. I thought sand/cement...

    what kind of price is the going rate for screeding and plying floors , going on per m2 fix only i know the ply and screed may vary in price

    Screeding a floor!!

    Starting a job on Monday doing a bathroom the floor is about 6m2 but i have to screed it first. I think the mix is 3 sand to 1 cement with a dryish mix is this right? Has anyone on here done it before if so can you give me any advice. Also can I tile on this after 4 days? Jeffinoz

    bad screeding by builder

    bluewaters tiling here am new to this forum.Have a job coming up soon 80 mtrs limestone flooring.Problem is that the builder did the screed him self and is like a camels back! And has underfloor heating under the sceerd.Any suggestons would be great
