Hi
Have used a profile to Silicon between an aluminium shower screen and the tiled wall that it is attached onto to give the job a clean look. Unfortunately I managed to smear some Silicon onto the aluminium.
I want to remove the excess whilst keeping the seal.
Does anyone have any ideas...

I'm tiling a domestic garage floor and want to put a movement joint in the middle because i'm moving from one set of tiles to a different type, do i fill the joint with ordinary sealant?
I'm new to tiling but I put white sealant into a corner movement joint and then tried to wipe the excess off but it went all over the surrounding tiles now the sealant has hardened and i cant get it off. I've tried an orbital sander but it leaves a black mark/burn on the tile. Any ideas how to...

Hi just a quick question. When tiling over a bath, do you tile over the bath and use Silicon between the bath and tiles, or do you put a plastic bath sealant on the top of the bath and tile to the plastic and then Silicon? Which is better? Thanks.
I have constructed a platform/plinth around the bath, which means areas of horizontal tiling, including a wide ledge at the non tap end.
I know that you are supposed to apply sealant immediately between the bath and the tiles for flexing. The tiles are small unglazed mosaics.
Should I...

Siliconing, I hate it!
At the moment I am using the stuff from Trade tiler and spit to smooth it, it's okay but i'm sure theres better and was just wondering what the best is to use? At a reasonable price of course.
Also does anyone use the tools available to smooth it or just spit like me?
