I have just finished tiling a three wall matki shower enclosure with glass mosaics. There are two vertical corners, and three horizontal corners. The horizontal corners of the shower tray have a lip and the tiles overlap this to provide a seal.
Do I have to put Silicon along all these edges...
Hi,
I've finally finished tiling an alcove (I'm a very part-time DIYer) and intend to do the grouting at the weekend. However, I've see threads in these forum which mention Silicon sealant being used on internal corners. As this is going to be a toilet rather than a shower/wet room would you...
Hello everybody, I would be very grateful for your thoughts on this one as I am completely stumped.
Did a bathroom a little while ago for a customer, she didnt like the idea of Silicon but after much discussion came round to the idea that there wasnt much choice in the matter. Finished up and...
Finished the tiling and grouting and the wooden strip has been removed, just wondering if I should put some white or black Silicon under the tiles?
There's the black beading on the top but I didn't put it along the bottom.
Should I just leave it alone? What would you guys do?
Cheers.

I wouldn't use Everbuild anywhere near water...
Help! Is there some magic art to Silicon sealing? I've re-sealed the same area behind a sink twice now and still the water gets through. Sink is set in a standard laminate top, but the wall panel is veneered MDF (hence the need for a good seal) coated with polyurethane varnish, but it's the...

The bottom of the tiles has white Silicon running along them & in the area behind the sink the water has rotted & dirtied the Silicon, some of it has broken away...
