    Thoughts folks, just laid an uncalibrated slate floor in a kitchen/dining area. I'm fitting the up stands in the same material, I have selected a load of roughly the same thickness cut down to 10cm, then something occurred to me, would I leave grouting gaps in the up stands or but them up?
