    SLC over UFH essential

    Hi have read a lot of mention of using SLC over UFH mat/cable. Is it essential or can I just use tile adhesive in place of SLC? ie cover the mat with adhesive before then applying the adhesive bed that will take the tiles? Cheers Jon

    UFH question.... is it safe to use a spiked roller for slc?

    Can I use a spiked roller for applying Mapei Latexplan slc over loose wire UFH, or will it damage the wires? I do not own a roller (yet) and do not know if the spikes would cause damage? Any other alternative ideas? Ta Geoff
