Got a splashback to do but they are using 9x11 tiles and i will have to cut one of the tiles down ,should i just pre cut all the bottom one's and them lay them off the work top or should i lay a full one of the bottom and cut the top one, but doing it the second way creates more work IE...

Got a kitchen splashback to do but the tiles have a patten on then ,obviously you centre the main feature on the wall IE cooker head, but if i do this the patten will not match in the corners should i carry on with normall setout centre cooker head or should i try and match the pattern...

Now i know you centre a hob or cookerhood on splashbacks but what if the cooker hood is on a wall where the worktop finishes halfway along the wall, do you start with a full tile level with the end of the worktop , or do you still centre the hob but in doing so end up with a small cut...

When you quote for a kitchen splashback do you charge per square metre or per linear metre? also what else do you take into consideration when quoting a splashback?
One thing they all do here in Perth Australia is miter around the windows they don't really use trim.

Quick question about splashbacks - when you set out do u set out in mind of sockets? Or do u set out irrespective of them and tile round them as you get to them? Also Do u always start off with a full tile on the worktop? Dont really see how you can set out a splashback width ways to ensure...
