How long after grouting can the last coat of sealer be applied to tiles? done a coat had to wait for 2 hours before dry today so went home- groucho

Just had a phone call from the guy whom I layed a limestone floor last weekend, he says that there is a stain on one of the tiles-it may have come from dirty water from the washing machine. I can't really work this out as I sealed all the tiles twice, is it a case of getting a cleaning product...- kins73
