    Support / Fitting Limestone Coving

I am current tiling a chimney breast in limestone and wish to fit a 100mm x 20mm x 1200mm long limestone slip onto the wall tiles at ceiling level and am concerned that the adhesive on its own would not support the weight of the slip. Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Support the fair fuel campaign..they need YOUR! Help...

We imagine that, like us, you are angry and disappointed by the failure to act on petrol & diesel prices in thisafternoon’s Budget. The Government has not listened to ourevidence that it could have reduced petrol & diesel tax AND been no worseoff in overall revenue. This is a ‘slap in the face’...

How to support first row tiles in tanked shower?

I've just tanked my shower (using BAL WP1) and am ready to start tiling. Normal practice is obviously to begin tiling just under one tile hight up from the tray and support the first row of tiles on level wooden battons screwed or nailed to the wall. But this will pierce the tanking, which I'm...

    Portable support for mosaic

I've had a request from a production company about having a roughly 5' x 3' (1.54m x 0.91m) mosaic done onto board. The pieces will be about 8 - 12mm in size, natural stone. This works out to about 26 kgs per m2, for this size (1.4 m2) = 36.5kg What could I use as a base board? Bearing in mind...
