Hi all,
Just wanting some advice on tilling onto a plaster boarded stud wall around a shower and bath area.
I have just pulled all the existing tiles off the wall and over boarded the exiting plasterboard as it has become weak and floppy. I’m just using standard 10mm white boards.

Hi,
Before you all say wet wall panels are horrible and everything i agree, and would much rather tile a cubicle, but it is what the customer wants,
Just wondering if there is any need to tank behind them?
I always tank a shower area and sometimes round a bath before tiling depending on...

I'm a little confused about how to apply the tanking tape!
1. if both sides of the tape are to be behind tiles, ie in a vertical corner, do I still need to remove the scrim from the edge?
2. should the tape be applied scrim side to the wall, or rubber side to the wall?
3. do I need to peel...

It will eventually be fitted with a shower enclosure using shower...

We're about to start work on a new wetroom installation on a ground concrete floor. The shower area is to be triangular with two of the sides 'kicking back' a tad (see attached sketch). As such shaped shower formers/trays do not exist, we're going to have to create the fall to the corner drain...
