I am thinking the best product to seal Terracotta may be Aquamix Enrich N Seal since it doesn't not require linseed oil in maintenance. Whereas LTP's Colour Intensifier does require linseed oil in maintenance. Would this be correct?
I am trying to get this issue with terracotta into...
Hi all,
Surprising as this may sound, I've never fixed real terracotta for over 7 years now:yikes:
Just picked up a job to fix 300x300 Saltillo and wondered what decent sealers/finishes were kicking around these days??
Had a quick look at the LTP range which looks

Hi,
Be grateful for some advice before it's too late

Hi. I have an old (approx 300yrs) house with a part concrete, part old lime "crete" floor (ie concrete in the bits where the old lime had presumably broken away) in the sitting room. No DPC. It was sopping wet when we removed the carpet (with thick rubber underlay and hardboard under that). Room...

i have been asked to quote on fixing 20m2 diamond pattern 300x300 hand thrown terracotta to a pretty much rectangluar room (one small diag. return wall).

Did a repair job this week, just a couple of tiles to replace. What surprised me was how the edges of the tiles (unsealed but top surface was sealed) sucked the moisture out of the grout. (mapei ultra colour) saw surface cracks appear straight away. Just told told the customer I would check on...
I am a novice and know very very little about this subject, but I want advice how to clean and restore an old terracotta tile floor in my entrance room that hasn't had anything done to it for at least 20 years(other than washing with flash). When it's wet the colours look great but it soon...
Some of the tiles have come away from my step as you can see in the pictures below. None of the tiles are damaged and all I want to do is replace them and restore the step. There are other tiles near the front edge that are getting a bit loose but further in towards the door the tiles are sound...
