The other half is a concrete floor

Hi - new member looking for some advice.
This is my first home and first renovation work we've had done, so not sure how to judge the quality.
Attached are some picture of our bathroom renovation. This is the second attempt at tiling the walls. The first went quite badly with a lot of uneven...
Any good? I'm after the cleanest edge possible from a dry cut grinder blade.

I've had some cheaper Bosch blades before, they were not particularly special regarding chip free cuts, but...
Invested in expensive tiles (£1,200 for this lot) and the tiler initially charged over £1000 to fit these 9sqm as part of his refurb of my whole bathroom (plastering prep was extra). I have argued him down to match another quote because of the state of the corners - slivers etc, but does the...
I’ve been looking for a box of replacement tiles for the tile that is pictured. It was a discontinued tile probably when the house was built. It was a model home and I can’t find any spares. I think it’s 32cms X 32cms or really close to 13 inches. It’s a high gloss white and it has P1111 or PIII...
Hi, I have had my bathroom tiled and have noticed a chip on one of the tiles which is directly at eye level. Is it normal to use a chipped tile? I supplied the tiles and there are at least 2 full packs left so would have been plenty spares for the tiler to use instead of this one? Am I being...
Hi All
I'm looking for some advice from the experts and hope you can help. I've just had a shower room built as part of an extension project. It hasn't been cheap, I haven't cut costs and the building firm - a small local company with a good reputation - have been good so far (building works...
Hi all
I’m new to this community and would appreciate any help around the tile industry in the uk and margins at each step (manufacturer-distributor-retailer)
I’m asking this as I have an opportunity in relation to becoming a distributor for a well established tile manufacturer from abroad...
Afternoon all..
Anyone seen or used this EGGER Protect | EGGER - https://www.egger.com/shop/en_GB/building/product-detail/PROTECT

Hi all,
Recently had my kitchen tiled in a chess board style white & black 30cm x 30cm quartz tiles. The floor covers approximately 14m2. The tiler came highly recommended & has done jobs for friends & neighbours, I’m not so happy with the job he has done in my house. The job took 6hours from...
Hi
Recently had a kitchen fitted and came home this evening and Tiler had finished work, we have white metro tiles and he suggested grey grouting. I feel the work in some areas is sub standard. And the grey grouting seems to make the errors more noticeable. What do you think?
Hi!
We've just had our kitchen installed and one of the installers said he does tiling too.
So we got him to the tiles, including a herringbone pattern behind the oven/splashback. White tiles, dark grout. The main issue is the corners, where there is a massive thick line of grout on some...
