tile grout

Hi guys and gals I am new here and am needing some advise I am making my own Hearth from slate for under my Multi fuel burning stove. Which Is the best Heatproof adhesive and grout within a budget. Not the cheapest they would need to be repaired soon afterwards, but not over priced. Regards

Never used Mapei. Would Ultracolor plus be OK for 1.5mm grout joints in porcelain wall tiles, 30x60 and 150x20? Would use SF but not available in any of the colours I need.

Tiler used by builder to tile bathroom grouted all corners and some developed hairline cracks. Builder has now caulked over the grout in all corners with Mapei colour match caulk. Are there any issues with caulking over grout - mould etc?

Just doing a bathroom with white ceramic wall tiles and grey porcelain floor tiles. I've been asked to prevent the grout going black and dirty over time and to ease cleaning. Can I use something like Stain Stop on the grout? Its Mapei on walls and Bal on floor.

Been hearing good things about this new Weber flexi grout. The faster setting and colour/ shade consistency is enough to get me to try and could be a replacement for me using Mapei.
