It was his first day today. I found him on mybuilder. He wasn't the cheapest quote and I chose him because he says he's a professional tiler. It's a bathroom which we're fully tiling with white travertine tiles 30 x 45 x 12. The things I'm worried about / unhappy about are:

When you enter a job in JOTM it only allowed 1 picture!
I couldn’t find how to add any more or indeed add any further information ( such as preparation ).
Have I missed some thing as now all I see is 5 entries, 5 pictures - that’s it!

Advice please chaps - i’m a bit new to all this! I’ve been to a house today where they have had a very poor tiling job done where tiles have come loose, floors not levelled, loads of lipping etc etc. The builder has done a runner and left them in the sh*t!

Hi
I managed to chip a tile :(
What is best bet to solve this problem?
Should I try to take the tile up and replace it?
Failing that, could it be filled?
Has been a frustrating introduction to tiling.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

Had a horrendous experience with a bunch of rogue tilers who didn't secure floorboards in the bathroom, put down Ditra on top without informing me that this was an inappropriate substrate and now obviously the grout has cracked. Because it's a high water area, I can't proceed and my building...

First post on this forum and unfortunately its not under good circumstances.
We have built what we had hoped would be our dream kitchen. One integral part of this is the ceramic floor from porcelanosa. These are large squares 60cm X 60cm. We used the branded adhesive and grout.
