Hi all I always use a 20 mm round notch with traventine on floors but would it be the same on walls? I thought a 8mm square notch would be ok. dont know whats best. thanks

What notched trowel am I best using. A floor trowel with curved notches or an ordinary wall trowel??

Butech trowel,i was in Porcelanosa the other week and neede a trowel so i bought one of these trowels.It has a wooden handle and is sturdy and comfortable to work with,which is most important.Anyway its a great trowel and was only ..wait for it £4.54 plus vat...what a bargain.Anyone tried them...
I'm currently fixing 330x250 ceramic tiles to the wall with a 6mm wall trowell using weber fix plus (max bed 3mm) i'm finding that although i tried to get the wall as level as poss before starting that using these bigger tiles its much harder to get them all level. Can i not just use a 10mm...

Customer for a job in a few weeks has had a last minute burst of creativity and decided that she is moving away from the 300 x 300 cermics to 20mm mosaics 5mm thick.

What's your prefered choice of trowel when laying large format tiles? Does an 18mm large format trowel use too much ady and is 12mm enough?
