    Anyone bought any new tools lately

    Am a bit of a sucker for buying tools I don't need , and saying as it's been quiet on the tiling tools forum lately , what have we all been purchasing ?? I bought an electric scrapper yesterday for removing paint, wallpaper and vinyl foam etc !

    110v tiling tools.

    After doing residential work for the last 12 years all of my power tools are 240v. I'm intending on filling any gaps in work on sites so i'm now after doubling everything up of what i got in 110v versions. Please PM me if anyone has any 110v stuff there looking to off load.

    american power tools

    can you use american power tools over here in the uk? i know that they run on 110v and we use 110v on building sites, but wanted to know is it just a matter of switching the plugs over to the same as our 110v plugs? I know that the Hz is different and may affect the speed of the tool.
