After having a good chat with the guy who will be laying my tiles I've decided to go for ufh. Now the big question I've seen a few kits on eBay from different sellers and was wondering if any one has used them and what they like? The underfloor heating store seem to be shifting a fair...

In 2 minds wether to put underfloor heating in my kitchen. I've currently got a bitumen floor which I've read you cannot put it directly onto the floor. Now will 6mm boards be ok to put down then lay it on top of that? (trying to minimise the height of the finished floor level).
Is...

Hi. I am a keen DIY enthusiast over many years. Came to this site when researching UFH. One job I did not enjoy previously was using self levelling compound - it did not level! maybe too thick? However as I am thinking of laying UFH loose cable I will need to use it so any tips would be...

Hi All,
Anyone know of any other ways to tile over Electircal Underfloor Heating except latex over it? I have seen Schluter Ditra Matting have made deeper notches to fit the wire in but it is probably more expensive?

I Want black quarz tiles and have found they are not suitable for use with under floor heating. Would the same issues occur with under cupboard heaters. I am not having kick boards so would need some sort of suspended heaters, any suggestions?

Hi I have a floor to tile and install electric underfloor heating. I have done quite a few before and used Topps two part rapidset applying the adhesive directly onto the cable. But can you use Mapei Maperker Rapidset Flexible in the same way?
Hi all,
I have been asked to lay a downstairs floor seamlessly (no breaks, threshold trims etc). The problem is that the main area is floorboards/ply which then flows into a new conservatory which will be new screed and underfloor heating. Obviously the difference in expansion qualities is...

obviously tape, but I think personally it covers too much floor.
