We have been looking for limestone wall tiles for the shower 305x305x10 or 12 and liked Caliza. But getting confused as to whether colour (and even name of tile) varies depending on country of origin. Are Spanish tiles more expensive because of being better quality or to do with their...
Made by Rumbomar SA , the tile is called "Robin", size 250mm X 200 MM and is a gray marble-effect tile. Ideally a box of 20....or if anyone has any idea of how to contact Rumbomar, I have e-mailed them twice (in Spanish) but not getting any answer.
Many thanks
John
Hi Guys
I'm refitting my en-suite and have ripped out the existing plasterboard in the shower cubicle. The tiles I am using are 400x400 porcelain and I wonder about using exterior grade plywood instead of plasterboard. The reasons are in case I need to change the tiles in the future without...

I'm hoping someone here may have a few of these tiles left over that they no longer need? Due to a mistake by my plumber/fitter installing the toilets I've got two bathrooms tiled but we're about half a dozen short to correct the error.
I've tried the supplier I bought the originals from, I...

A simple question, but my tilers have put the wall tiles on first, and are now laying the floor tiles.
This seems illogical as it is easy to see any imperfect cuts on the floor tiles.
wheras if the wall had been done last then looking down the imperfect floor tiles would be covered, and it is...

Hello tilers
Just about to do some boxing in of my toilet and trying to make sure I get the measurements right so the tiling looks 'correct'... I'm using 30x40cm wall tiles ('landscape' orientation) with a border resting on the sill, but if I start tiling full tile from the floor, the border...
A tile can be called a manufactured form of ceramic, stone etc. These are all strong resources. The word tile comes from a French word called 'tuile'. Tiles are used for a lot of purposes, such as flooring etc. Let's move on to understand the process of installing a ceramic wall tile.

Hi,
About a year ago I lay some lovely 33x60 9mm ceramic tiles on the floor...they look fine (other than some wonky grout lines). I have since realised that these were wall tiles and that their durability is unlikely to be suited to floors. Is there anything I can do to prolong their...

Hi there. Can anyone tell me how to clean textured wall tiles in my kitchen. Just moved in and boy! do they need cleaning. I've been trying with a toothbrush but that's going to take forever....they are so small and there's such a lot of them:helpsmilie:
I've had a look through the forum to see if anyone else has asked the same questions: apologies if this is a repeat!

Hi, I bought a new house 7 years ago with bathroom tiles by Johnson ref WL1NA, approx 20cm square white, matt with a slight checker pattern. I want to add some more tiles but cannot find any - I suspect they are no longer available, but somebody might have a few boxes stashed away.
Hello.
I am in the early stages of fixing 600 x 300 ceramic wall tiles to bathroom and ensuite walls in stretcher bond. while I have done a fair bit of tiling before (but not with tiles of this size) I'm finding it far from easy to not get any lipping. I am very fussy and strive for perfection...
