Tomorrow I want to tile for a friend a container.
The container has an iron bottom, with an appr. 2 mm thin wood layer, fixed by screws and probably also pasted. Remove that wood isn't possible.
I want to know how to tile that good.
There is the problem that where I'm living don't have...

Went into a tile store today looking for bathroom floor tiles, got talking to the bloke there about backer boards prices onto my T&G wood floor, he said just use Dunlop Tile on Wood adhesive straight onto the floorboards.
Anyone had any experience of this product?

Hi all - new to the site, and would really appreciate some basic advice on how to prep a wood floor for tiling. Against my (better?) judgement, my wife has stripped back our hall and kitchen to the floorboards, sanded and dyed them black.
Now want to tile instead. The floor seems pretty level...

I want to prepare our kitchen floor for tiling. Currently half is floorboard on top of joist, the other half is a layer of asphalt on top of concrete.
