hi fellas im about to tile my kitchen floor which i have prepared with 12mm wbp ply screwed at 300mm centres. I intend to use BAL SPF Adhesive but i have read on another forum that i should have primed the underside of the ply? Is this correct?
i am laying porcelain tiles using kerriquick and latex , i have boards screwed onto floorboards at 100m spaces, these are 12mm boards and are clean and dry, do i prime them and what with , i normally use pva , but have not used mapei before , please advise

I have just ben asked to fit an engineered wooden floor which is going down on a concrete base, The slab has water based underfloor heating.
Do I need any special membrane or just a dpc ?

Need to over board usually use ply, but putting ufh then some latex slc and on top that of that Ditra, will I be better using a backer board instead of ply to keep the height down, will it be strong enough and whats reccomended.

In my training I was always told to use min 15 mm ply on top of floorboards or to remove the floor boards and put it straight onto the joists .
However I have never used this I have always used no more ply at 6mm and benfoflex with no problems except it can take an extra day to get it down...

Hi Dan how do level up a bathroom floor thats thats 20mm out of level its tounge and groved and been overlaid with 15 ply ?.
