In the recent redevelopment of a major shopping centre this mosaic work has disappeared. I looked but it’s not on show so presumed removed. Working alongside Tommy Richards we completed this ‘ Wall of Gates’...
Hi all... I have changed career after 30 years and am starting up as a 'handyman', which will involve bathroom refits and tiling.
I have done lots of personal tiling over the years but never charged anyone for it.....that is a daunting prospect. I want to ensure I provide the best service...

Hi fellow tilers!
Newbie to the forum!
I began tiling in 2009 but ventured back to the dark (employed) side in 2013. I've been working in a local tile showroom for a few years but missed the sore knees, bad back and aching for arms so much I'm going back on the tools in a couple of weeks...

I started tiling in 2002 when I left school with a local bathroom installation company where I gained some valuable experience in the tiling trade.

Hello,
A first post from someone not very good at building stuff.
House in South America, generally well built but poorly maintained the last 30 years. Local tradesmen not doing a good job repairing and renovating. Learning to do things myself.
It would be great if anyone can give me pointers...

I was in the corporate world for all of my working life until the age of 36. I basically decided there must be more to life than work and money. The cost to me was I didn't see enough of my children or wife. I handed...
Hiroshima marks 70 years since atomic bomb - BBC News
Terrible anniversary.
On the TV, the BBC and Sky are avoiding mentioning the USA at all. Doesn't surprise me one bit.
